Please take a moment to become acquainted with the "Items for Consideration-2009-2010" listed below.  Your position on these items is of the utmost importance in that some will require a change in the workings of our association.

"Items for Consideration - 2009-2010"


1. By-Laws Change
   
    A proposal for a change in the District 11 By-Laws will be brought forth in the fall.  This proposal involves minor changes
    regarding electronic balloting for elected positions.  Click the link above to read the proposal.


2. Policies Change - Piano Audition

    A proposal to amend the District 11 policy regarding the selection of Piano Accompanists for the district-level   
    Chorus festival will be brought forth in the fall..  This proposal involves our options, should our audition process not
    produce an accompanist of the appropriate ability level.  Click the link above to  read the proposal.


3. Policies Change - Harp Audition
   
    Based on concerns brought to the state board by D11, approval has been granted for the development of a "Harp   
    Rubric" to be used for Harp auditions across the commonwealth.  Several harp teachers are involved in collecting  
    information, as well as additional rubrics used across the country.  More information to follow.


4. Audition Manager

    Just a reminder that Audition Manager will be implemented across all district-level events, including choral and
    instrumental auditions.


5. District 11 Social Event

    For those who completed the Social Event Questionnaire, thank you.  However, 18 responses out of several hundred    
    members is not enough.  Therefore, we will try one last time.
